So I tend not to talk about my real life...but....this is a rare exception...as the people who are close to me in SL know that I was adopted in RL.
When I was 7 years old my elementary music teach adopted me, and loved me like I was her own...but about 10 months later...things changed...she was diagnosed with breast cancer and she passed away when I was 8 years old.
